Frequently asked questions
Do we need Microsoft Fabric up and running to do the assessment?
No. It works before (to decide whether to migrate) or after. If you're at the evaluation stage, it's the ideal starting point to build the business case before committing the investment.
Does your data leave your environment?
No. The audit works in read-only mode over metadata and logs in your own tenant. Business data never leaves your environment.
How much of the internal team's time does it take?
Two meetings: the 60-min discovery call and the 90-min Clarity Session. In between, your team gathers the documentation we agreed on during discovery (we tell you exactly what). The analysis is asynchronous.
When does the 1–2 week clock start?
When we receive the complete documentation. It's the only part we don't control, so it doesn't count against your timeline.
What happens if I continue with the Fabric Blueprint?
50% of the assessment is credited toward the Fabric Blueprint if you move forward within 30 days of the Clarity Session.
