Services · Power BI · Implementation
From slow reports to a Power BI solution that's efficient, scalable and easy to maintain.
Power BI Implementation builds or rescues your reporting with the STAR Method: a star-schema semantic model, formal DAX, automated refresh and versioning (PBIP + git) from day one. You end up with a BI that's reliable and maintainable, not a .pbix only its author understands.
The situation assessment
Sound familiar?
Manual reporting every month
The team rebuilds the same spreadsheets in Excel over and over. Decisions wait for the report.
Power BI that hurts
What you have is slow, breaks often, and nobody fully trusts the numbers.
Versions that don't match
Two reports show the same KPI with different values. The board asks for manual validation.
A hostage .pbix
The report was built by someone who's no longer around, and nobody on the team touches it without breaking it.
Two ways in
Build or Optimize, depending on your starting point.
Build — from scratch
Manual reporting, Excel or an untapped ERP: we connect the sources, automate the manual work and build the new model and reports.
Optimize — what hurts
Existing models or reports that are slow or fragile: we optimize the model, DAX and refresh, with before/after metrics.
The methodology
The STAR Method.
Scope defined
We agree on which report, which KPI and which breakdown before any development.
Tracked work with best practices and versioning
PBIP + git from day one; you own the history of your BI, not a loose file.
Approval in cycles
You review each report in short iterations, not one big surprise delivery.
Release with handover
We deliver it documented, with a Q&A channel for 30 days.
The difference: we work with best practices from the start and pour all of NuData's Power BI experience into your project. You're not paying someone who learns on your project. Every model ships with the maintainable standard (star schema + formal DAX + business descriptions), which also makes it Copilot-ready out of the box.
What you get
Included in every project.
- Model documentation (dictionary + diagram)
- 30 days of post-delivery support
- A "get the most out of it" session with your users: navigation, subscriptions, alerts, and Copilot if your license enables it
- Corporate theme + reusable template
- Documented performance check
- Licensing recommendation backed by numbers (the F64 vs. Pro math)
Investment
Custom quote based on scope
Reference: from ~USD 8,000. One total price, no variable costs.
The scope depends on sources, reports and business areas. On the call we tell you, straight up, whether your case is Build or Optimize and what scope you need.
Book a call →Natural next step: if your team wants autonomy → Power BI Fast Lane (training). If you need a data platform (lakehouse, pipelines) → Fabric.
Stop rebuilding the same spreadsheets every month.

Frequently asked questions
Do you start from scratch or work on what I already have?
Both. If your reporting is manual or doesn't exist, we come in through Build. If you already have slow or fragile models or reports, through Optimize, with before/after metrics. On the call we tell you which case is yours.
How much of my team's time do you need?
Little, and at specific moments: agreeing on the scope at the start and validating each delivery in short cycles. You don't need anyone full-time — you do need someone who knows the business to test the reports.
Am I tied to NuData after delivery?
The opposite. We hand over everything versioned with PBIP + Git, documented (dictionary + diagram) and built to the maintainable standard, so your team can touch it without breaking it. If you want full autonomy, the next step is the Power BI Fast Lane (training), not a dependency contract.
How is this different from hiring a freelancer?
A freelancer leaves you a .pbix; we leave you a solution with a standard — versioned, documented and built with best practices from day one — which avoids the “black box nobody can touch”. With NuData's judgment (Microsoft Press author, MCT) behind every decision.
What do you need to get started?
Read access to your sources and one person who knows the business. We work on your tenant and your current licenses.
