The Proof of Value that validates your architecture before you invest.

The Fabric Blueprint is a bounded Proof of Value: in 4 weeks we design your architecture and test it with a real use case, on your own data, in a trial capacity. You walk away with the design validated, the 3-year TCO and a clear roadmap — with concrete evidence to present and defend the investment with confidence.

Who it's for

Your economic buyer won't approve without seeing it work.

You have the volume and the need to move to Fabric, but committing to a months-long migration based on an estimate is a big leap. Your economic decision-maker (CFO/CEO) won't approve a project of that size on a paper projection: they need to see the real number and proof that it works on your own data.

What you get

Evidence, not promises.

01

Validated architecture design

Medallion on OneLake, ingestion strategy (Mirroring or pipeline) and SKU sizing with the official estimator.

02

PoV running on your data

A real slice: 1 source → Bronze/Silver/Gold → DirectLake model → 1 report, measuring actual consumption.

03

Editable 3-year TCO

So you can defend the budget with your own numbers, not a vendor's estimates.

04

Go / no-go / scale recommendation

With technical and economic grounds, plus the Accelerator proposal with the credit applied.

What it does NOT include

The honest boundary with the Accelerator.

The PoV proves; it doesn't deploy to production. This is explicitly outside the Blueprint — it's exactly what the Fabric Accelerator builds:

  • Operations and monitoring in production
  • Full governance (Purview, roles, classification)
  • Production-grade pipelines with SLAs and alerts
  • Team training and handover

How it works

From scoping to decision, in 4 weeks.

01

Scoping — 90 min

We define 1 use case and its success metric. If you're coming from the Fabric Clarity Check, we start from the assessment's findings.

02

Design + sizing / TCO

Target architecture, ingestion strategy, SKU sized with the official estimator and a 3-year TCO.

03

Proof of Value

We build the slice in a trial capacity and measure the real consumption of your data, not a sample dataset.

04

Decision session — 90 min

A session with your team and the economic decision-maker. A working demo on your data + an honest recommendation (move forward / wait / scale in stages) + the Accelerator proposal with the credit applied.

Investment

USD 8,000–12,000

Based on the complexity of your sources. Fixed price, no variable costs.

  • 50% creditable toward the Fabric Accelerator if you move forward within 30 days.
  • The trial capacity (Fabric trial, 60 days) carries no infrastructure cost for you.
  • If you're coming from the Fabric Clarity Check, that investment has already been credited to this step.

Honesty as method: the go/no-go may recommend not moving forward, or something cheaper. That honesty is part of the service.

Stop assuming Fabric is right for you. Prove it on your data.

30 minutes to define the use case and the success metric for your Proof of Value.

Frequently asked questions

How is it different from the Fabric Accelerator?

The Blueprint tests a bounded case in a trial capacity and ends in a decision. The Accelerator builds the real solution in production. The PoV proves; it doesn't deploy to production.

Does the trial capacity cost anything?

No. The PoV runs on a Fabric trial (60 days), with no infrastructure cost for you.

What if the go/no-go is "no"?

We tell you, with the reasons why, and suggest the cheaper or more appropriate path. We'd rather do that than sell you something that doesn't serve you.
